What's Cooking?
Balanced, Whole Foods: Our menu embraces a flexible approach to dietary needs while considering variety, the health of our bodies, and the planet. We prioritize local and organic choices using the Dirty Dozen+ list.

Seasonal Produce: Think of fresh asparagus, vibrant peas, carrots, herbs, and crisp radishes—ingredients that shine in dishes like Springy Carbonara (featured below), and more.
Kinfolk Keepers: A fantastic recipe website built by my husband, where I organize and can easily share my favorite recipes with you.
Featured Cookbooks: Half Baked Harvest Super Simple, Big Heat Little Stove, and The Defined Dish. These are all available through our library, so please utilize that free resource!
Supper Spotlight: Springy Carbonara
Who can resist a big bowl of pasta, especially when it's as delightful as Springy Carbonara? This Italian classic gets a springtime twist with fresh veggies, making it a perfect weekend treat for the whole family. I serve it with a baguette smothered with grass-fed butter and a bottle of rosé for the grown-ups.
In the comments, I'm all ears for your feedback on the meal plan and the newsletter format! See a recipe you'd like to see in future editions? Let me know—I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Here's to the privilege and joy of feeding and being fed!
Cheerfully,
YUM! The dinner plan is great! We're eating more seasonal green veggies lately-- leeks (so versatile, I love them roasted), asparagus, peas, bok choy, and more salads. It's also strawberry season here which my kids love.
I love when you share these on instagram-- so really excited to checkout the list here. Cooking is my least favorite thing-- I suffer from decision fatigue combined with nothing ever turns out because I'm a terrible cook, lol.
